Artificial grass consists of three parts: yarn, backing cloth, and coating.

Yarn

For the yarn of artificial grass, there are several kinds of raw materials: polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and poly-amide (Nylon). It will also need to add different color master-batches for different colors. To ensure the anti-UV ability and other characteristics, additional additives are also necessary.

Backing cloth

The backing cloth is usually made of polypropylene (PP). For customers' choice, there are several combinations of backing cloth:

single layer: single PP layer

double layers: PP+Net, PP+PP, PP+Non-woven fabric

triple layers: PP+Non-woven fabric+Net

Coating

There are two kinds of coating: styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), and polyurethane (PU). SBR is the most used coating method according to its high-cost performance. PU coating is known for its great withdraw force, its waterproof is better and is more eco-friendly than SBR coating.
